Writing An Original Light Novel For Pleasure, Blah Blah Blah

I am now falling for a newly-found relaxing activity: Writing a fully-original light novel.

I have been veeeeeeeeery tired of Doujin writing. Though Doujin works were originally created for fun, I can not gain joy from it any more. Some create just for profits, some create poorly and arrogantly, even some create without carefulness and cause serious effects on Doujin circle.
I have spent too much time getting along with some fans of Doujin but got far more depression than delight.
I had better take a rest after this stage of creation.

Then continue the topic of my light novel.
I am thinking about a story happened in a fictional world with a non-existing country called Nayard. I am supposing to write about a conspiracy planned by most of the main characters to overthrow the Nayardian ruler.
If translating the title of the first volume into English, should it be ''The shivering and sneering stemware" while the original Chinese title is 「慄笑酒杯」!? [ In fact, the word 「慄笑」 does not exist in Chinese at all. It is only a self-created combination of these two words: 「战栗（慄）」( shiver ) and 「嘲笑」( sneer )]
This volume has been generally finished and it is now in the editing stage. But "the story seems to develop too slowly to please most Chinese readers who have adapted to the instant culture", as an opinion from one of my friends.
The translation of the title of the second volume is decided to be "The theory of isolation" while being 「孤独理论」 in Chinese.
I am obsessed with using titles made up of four characters presenting strange meanings. Maybe you will see the last volume be named 「阴暗荣光」 which means "The gloomy glory". wwwww
